Why do straight white guys feel like they don’t have safe spaces to go to? Like, why do you think that is an actual issue that needs to be addressed? The entire world is your safe space and you made it that way. The only places that aren’t safe spaces for you are the safe spaces for other people that are trying to get away from you. And even then, you’re not in any sort of danger of harm, you’re just unwanted. That’s not even discrimination against you, those spaces are a momentary escape for people like us to get away from discrimination and harm caused by people like you. But beyond that, seriously, the entire world is your safe space. If you don’t believe this to be true, there are numerous suggestions for where you could go, like busy street intersections, construction zones, and polluted lakes. But in all honesty, if you are a straight white guy who really feels like you don’t have a safe space to meet up with other straight white guys to get away from all the struggles and oppression that have been brought upon you by people of colour and women and queers, let’s be real, the only space you belong in is at a Dyson store, because you suck.
